73E Nickel Moly Chrome Iron (similar to Hastelloy C276)

73E is Similar to C276. This material is well known for providing excellent corrosion resistance in a variety of aggressive media. The high molybdenum content imparts resistance to localized corrosion such as pitting.

73E exhibits general corrosion, pitting and crevices corrosion resistance in a broad range of severe environments and over a range of low, medium and high temperatures. Being harder than 75E it is therefore more wear resistant.

Applications include- Reclamation of various parts intended for use in environments such as Chemical processing, Pollution control, industrial and municipal waste treatment and Paper plant. Generally the coating will only perform adequately in liquid or gaseous corrosive media when the pores are sealed with a suitable sealer.
