Introducing the Arc528E-ACD

The New Metallisation Arc528E-ACD system offers the ultimate in reliability and precision for ultra-high throughput, demanding production applications with anti-corrosion coatings.

Wire drive is supplied at the proven heavy-duty pistol by a new, powerful brushless AC Inverter motor, through a robust gearbox and drive roller system. The high-performance pistol incorporates proven Metallisation technology, including a unique, constant geometry (CG) head. This ensures smooth and consistent spray quality and minimal downtime when changing consumable spares.

The high throughput ARC528E-ACD pistol connects to one of two new Metallisation PLC controlled energisers, either 1000A or 1500A rated.

The drive unit controller is now internally mounted within the energiser for improved reliability. The industrial spec. PLC offers reliability and easier maintainability, enabling the system to be fully integrated with production equipment such as ductile iron pipe processing plants.

Introducing the ARC340(16)-PLC

The Metallisation ARC340(16)-PLC twin wire arc spray system is the preferred choice for general engineering applications. It is ideally suited to tool post and automation mounted applications with occasional requirements for hand spraying. The proven ARC340 pistol is now combined with a new range of (16) version, 250A and 350A switched voltage energisers.

The ARC340(16)-PLC system with a S250, 250A energiser is ideally suited to many engineering applications. However, for some larger scale applications where a higher throughput is required, the S350, 350A energiser will enable higher spray rates and increased productivity. The ARC340 is capable to spray anti-corrosion coatings also but may not be the most suitable solution for these applications. Alternative, more suitable systems could be the ARC140, ARC701 or ARC170 systems.

The PLC controller within the sealed electronics area of the energiser enables easy fault finding and offer over-current protection for the system. This means that the system will protect itself in the event of operator error when setting up spray parameters. The ARC340 pistol on its own supersedes and can be fitted as a direct replacement to the ARC234, ARC240 and ARC375 pistols. With fairly minimal modifications, it can also be fitted to some competitor pull systems.

A complete arc spraying system combining our NEW ARC1020 industrial pistol & (17) Model 1000 or 1500 Amp Energiser.

The industrial pistol features a wire drive supplied at the heavy-duty pistol by a highly accurate, powerful AC Inverter motor, through a robust gearbox and drive roller system.

The high performance pistol incorporates proven Metallisation technology, including a new and unique, constant geometry (CG) head. The air cap & concentrator now incorporates a new quarter twist lock system held in position with a spring loaded location plunger. This ensures smooth and consistent spray quality, & minimal downtime when changing consumable spares. Supreme flexibility is also a keynote of the ARC1020.

The pistol connects to Metallisation energisers, either 1000 A or 1500 A rated, with the drive unit controller internally mounted.

In addition, the system can easily be integrated into other production equipment such as ductile iron pipe processing plants, with the spray rate linked to production speed, to ensure perfect coating at all times.
