Dear Brian, swanning off after 23 years of loyal service!
Here are the farewell comments from some of the many customers you have helped during your long time at Metallisation… and from some of your colleagues…
Brian has been a very trusting and professional colleague throughout his years of service at Metallisation, and not only will he be hard to replace, but he will also be missed by everyone.
Brians appointment into the Metallisation Sales Department was a breath of fresh air, with the Department comprising of predominantly Females, and myself having 4 females at home it helped balance the gender difference and keep me sane.
Over the years we have shared the ups and downs of life, we have had some laughs in the good times and shared the not so good times, but I like to think the good times were the best!
Brian and I both share a passion for Rock music so keep on rocking mate!
Bri what ever your next step in life is may we say a big THANKYOU and wish you all the best now and in the future from your mates down under at Metal Spray Supples Australia.

Congratulations to have reached the retirement age after a very successful career at Metallisation.
You have been our point of contact for all our orders during the years working together and I can say from experience that you haven’t failed our demands. Some of them not urgent but others were and you have always delivered when we did need it the most, doing your utmost to offer us a solution to our demand.
Your professional approach was exemplary and it has been a pleasure to have you on the other side of the world helping us representing your company in the best possible way. Success can’t been achieved alone, so I thank you for your professional cooperation all the times we have worked together.

I started working at MSS in 2010, throughout those 14 years Brian has been friendly, helpful and consistent.
The personal touches like brief conversations at the start of our emails about what is going on in my life and in the life of Brian (pun intended), made dealing with Metallisation feel like I was dealing with friends rather than a run of the mill corporation.
The personal touch with individuals like Brian is priceless, other suppliers have you feeling like just another customer number with a sales figure attached to the value of your name.
Thank you Brian for maintaining professionalism during your efforts with the more difficult requests we have made (and the odd stupid question lol), nothing was ever a problem or put in the too hard basket.
Brian, thank you, and I all wish you the very best in retirement, you have definitely earned a retirement of rest and recreation.

I first encountered Brian together with Peter C Hall. That was a long, long, long time ago. We did spend little time together both in the UK and in Chile. Nevertheless, I will always recall his charm and deference. I believe we also share a couple of pints in Dudley and some legged coffees in Santiago.
In order to summarize my impression of Brian , I would say he is a man of few words; fully committed to his work in an outstanding professional manner and a polite gentleman.

I don’t know what to say.. Brian’s retirement has caused me to realise two things in life.. First of all, one day every relationship would come to an end and secondly we are all getting old.
Brian is the second person I have met/contacted after Darren in Metallisation UK. Since then he has helped me a lot with his reliable guidance through out my requests. He has worked like a decoder when finding out what i really wanted to get.
The keys “b”,”r”,“i”, “a”, “n” in my computer were worn out because of writing thousands of emails starting by “Dear Brian”…
Since that many years ( about 13 years ) He has replied all my quotation or information requests at the same day. I was getting nervous when i receive mails like Brian is out for holiday..
Unfortunately, we have never talked face to face… Hopefully if he would come to a holiday in Turkey one day, I would be able to have a chance to look after him and his family …
I would like to thank Brian via this mail once again, for his valuable time he had spent for answering my mails for 13 years and I wish him a very happy, healthy and loong retirement days without any mails from me…

My Dear Friend,
Time passed way too fast.
After all these years, my success in Portugal with Metallisation was due to Brian’s unconditional support.
It’s difficult to come across with a person like him, in our professional life, and I feel very grateful and lucky for having the chance to call him a friend through all these years.
An excellent professional, friendly and always ready to help.
He turned the situations that seemed difficult or impossible to resolve, into an easy solution.
Brian will always be part of my life and I consider him like family.
I will miss him at Metallisation, but I am sure he will be very happy in this new stage of his life.
Brian, I wish you from the bottom of my heart that God gives you many good years of life, with health and great joy.
The friendship between Portugal and England dates to the 12th century, years before the Treaty of Windsor, which made official “the oldest diplomatic alliance in the world still in force”.

You will be sorely missed…but not forgotten.
