Sayōnara, Gill

Dear Gill, setting sail after 31 years of loyal service!

Here are the farewell comments from some of the many customers you have helped during your long time at Metallisation… and from some of your colleagues…

I have many fond memories speaking with Gill on the phone especially when she used to be scared talking with my dad, unfortunately for Gill she never knew how worried he was speaking with Gill also ! I also have many found memories with me and Peter making Gill laugh, while she sat there and called us.

It has been a pleasure working and getting told off by the Queen of Metallization on many times, it has been a pleasure speaking with Gill for the best part of 30 years and I’m sure you will be missed not only by your customers but from Metallisation also, but they say all good times have to come to an end, your end is only just starting , best of luck in your retirement Gill

Missing you already Gill — Rob Berry

Speaking for myself and not Rob Berry as Gill knows he always butts in with our telephone conversations while I am talking to her.

I believe he’s a bit jealous of the fact we can have an intellectual conversation and he cant.

Well what can I say about Gill , she has been a pleasure to deal with over the years ,always efficient ,helpful and is a credit to Metallisation. (Gill is that what you wanted me to say lol)

On a more serious note best wishes Gill for your retirement, enjoy yourself and take it easy I will miss the banter we had and the help you have always given .

Drink more, relax and enjoy your retirement.

Best wishes

Pete (IRS)

Gill has always been my go to person for a very long time, she knows the product very well and understands the needs of toptubes, I have enjoyed talking to her. Gill will be missed and I will rememder her for a long time. Paul.

I was sad when I heard Gill is retiring for the following reasons,

There are some calls I make regularly ( Metallisation being one of them )

Gill has always been a friendly voice at the other end, we always have a little bit of friendly chit chat and I put the phone down smiling.

This was especially appreciated during the pandemic when we were all isolated.

I wish Gill a very Happy retirement, she will be missed.

I am sure Gills replacement will be equally as friendly, helpful and efficient.

Kind regards,

Trudy

I have been working and communicating with Gill over the last 29 years since the day I joined CHT International.

Gill is always helpful and promptly answers my queries.

I recall when I was at the Metallisation Office for my training in the early 2000, sadly, Gill was on leave and I missed the opportunity to meet her in person.

Wishing her the best in her endeavours.

Best Regards

P.G Lim

Gill is first class. For me personally Gill has always been our first contact for ordering parts and powders. Always attentive and able to help us out.

I am sure you will all miss her as I will too.

Good luck Gill in your next chapter. I am sure you will have a blast. Much love from all the team at Anilox Laser Technology.

To Gill,

Since the first day I started working at CNC, I have been in contact with Gill and have consistently received excellent coordination. Even as Gill approaches retirement from Metallisation, her work performance remains outstanding. As I grow older, I aspire to work as effectively as Gill.

Thank you, Gill, for contributing to the success of CNC, and may your retirement life be filled with happiness.

Best wishes for your retirement,

Gill, I hope you have a wonderful retirement filled with happiness and good health, it’s definitely well deserved after all your years here! Aimee

Dear Gill, thanks for your support over the years. I will miss especially your dry sense of humour, your tv recommendations and your honesty (often brutal but fair). Who else will be there to shout ‘THOMAS’ like my mother used to do when needing my attention. I hope you manage to finally get some well deserved downtime once you have retired, to enjoy walking the dog in the morning, to enjoy your garden and the birds singing, and catching up on every MAFS episode 😉
