Why Steel Needs Protecting

The project was so successful that it became a natural choice when selecting the coatings for key structural elements of the Burj Khalifa tower that followed several years later.

Swimming pools are a good example, where constant moisture in the air attacks the steel unless it has a suitable protective layer. By spraying zinc or aluminium onto the steel before it is installed, the problem is dealt with from the start.
