Arcspray 340 Pistol

The Pistol has been designed to give improved productivity and coating quality. It is a heavy duty unit with robust but compact construction having a specially designed head which accepts contact tubes, nozzles and aircaps suitable for 1.6mm, 2.3mm and 2.5mm diameter wires, replacement of these parts being simple, quick and efficient. The arcspray 340 is compatible with Metallisation 375, 234, 240 systems as well as other makes. It is a pull system capable of spraying up to 350 Amps continuously.

The Wire drive unit is of proven design utilising intermeshed steel wormshaft and bronze wormwheels. Tension of the wire rollers has a simple adjustable mechanism to accommodate various types of wire. An improved air driven high torque vane type motor is fitted to provide smoother starting and topping of the wire feed. Wire speed control is established efficiently by an air regulator mounted in the Energizer unit.

Lightweight air cooled conductor cables are a standard fitting (Solid Cables available) which reduces the operator supported weight and further improves the overall balance of the Pistol. The Pistol can be held of toolpost mounted.

Due to the level of noise emitted from this equipment, we strongly advise that operators and operatives in the immediate area wear ear protection.

PS50M*IPS & PS50M*IPS-A Inverter Power Supply Units

This unit is an inverter power supply which gives a maximum power output of 50Kw @ 100 Amps, with an open circuit voltage of 95V.

The D.C Power Supply Units are designed to run off normal factory three-phase electrical supplies. This unit is capable of either medium or high current operation to enable it to be used with a variet of gases. Current is continuously available from the control console.

Met Jet III Mass Flow Meter Control System

The Metallisation MET-JET III System produces the densest metallic and carbide coatings of all, with high hardness and low oxide levels. Furthermore coatings are often compressively stressed allowing thick coatings to be applied without fear of spalling. The Metallisation MET-JET III System is designed to meet the needs of the general market by providing a robust, easy to use and inexpensive system.

The whole system is integrated to provide reliable and reproducible results with simple to understand operation and a long life. Interconnections between the various components have been designed such that it is almost impossible to make a wrong connection. Hoses are colour coded for ease of recognition and safety.

MK66E Mass Flow Meter Control Flamespray System

The system provides fully programmed ignition and spray initiation; and an intermediate system of stationary wire and reduced pilot flame. This special design ensures that the wire does not stick in the nozzle bore even when left for long periods. Fault sensors check for loss of flame, wire stoppages or run out. These features ensure continued operation, improved coating quality and minimised downtime.

This unit contains all the electronic and gas controls necessary for automatic operation. The system includes a mass flowmeter control, for coating quality and repeatability and PLC for ease of interface with other systems. Operation of the unit is simple, with full display and diagnostic information provided.
