The Metallisation deflected flame spray extension has been developed as a direct result of customers requirements to apply a quality coating in difficult access areas. The initial requirement was for spraying onto pipe runs in the petro-chemical industry where the access between pipes and near pipe supports or other structures was limited. The extension unit fits directly onto the Metallisation flame spray pistols.
PosiTest DFT Ferrous measures non-magnetic coatings on steel. PosiTest DFT Combo measures both non-magnetic coatings on steel AND non-conductive coatings on aluminum, brass, etc. Automatically recognizes the substrate and takes a measurement.
Metallisation Wire Oil is a low viscosity compounded cleaner and lubricant. When used sparingly on wires in the arcspray process it helps to remove any debris which may accumulate on the wire surface and leaves a thin residual film. This film aids the passage of the wire through the spraying system, preventing pick-up at high pressure areas and prolonging the life of system parts.
Concentrated version of wire lubricating oil. Requires mixing with 4 parts white spirit. Concentrate is suitable for overseas shipping as there is no solvent content. Available in 1L bottles.
Lubricating oil to ensure smooth running and lubrication of air motors. Supplied in 1L bottles.
Sprayseal M has been developed by Metallisation as a deep penetration sealant for engineering coatings. It overcomes the problems of viscous sealants (which only penetrate 100 or so microns and are consequently removed by machining or wear) and low viscosity sealants which either run out of the pores or fail to completely seal them.
A range of commonly used masking tapes are available, suitable for flame and arc spraying. Advise is also available for the selection of masking tapes suitable for plasma and HVOF spraying.
Sprayshield has been developed by Metallisation Limited as a barrier against sprayed coatings. It overcomes the problems of masking large and difficult areas prior to metal spraying. Sprayshield is self curing, fire retardant and easily applied by brush or by suitable spray equipment.
A set of small engineers files, suitable for gentle cleaning of flamespray nozzles.
For use in the production of sprayed metal tooling, this vital product serves two useful purposes:- Firstly, it acts as a Release Agent allowing the Sprayed Metal Tool to be removed from the pattern. Secondly, it allows the sprayed metal particles to be trapped on the surface of smooth substrates to build up the sprayed layer.
Aluminium frame to allow the use of layer reels on MIG dispensers. Note: layer reels will not fit inside the plastic reel covers supplied with current MIG dispense arc systems. These covers can be removed.
